Philosophy
Our breeding program consists of a small number of
select mares that offer an important foundation to each of our foals who
are to become our future champions. We have selected our mares
based on proven performance lineage, quality movement and type and the
finest character.
We then carefully choose stallions that best compliment each of our
mares. During our stallion selection process, we review important
factors of each stallion and their progeny, including pre-potency,
and prefer to actually visit each of the stallions at their home and/or
place(s) of performance. This provides us some valuable insight,
not only as a breeding stallion, but as an individual and performance
horse as well.
Our foals are imprinted at birth, yet still allowed the important
bonding time with their mother and worked with on a daily basis.
During this time, we focus on giving each foal the experience of
building a trusting relationship with us, while still being able to
interact with other equine friends and still learning the necessities
from their dam.
This balance has given our foals a little bit of
something extra in becoming well-rounded equine partners for the amateur
through professional.
All of our horses are allowed maximum turn-out in small social groups
accordingly, except during inclement weather, in which they are brought
in and then exercised by hand.
Our nutritional protocols are of the very best. We work closely
with a nutritionist and Platinum Performance to provide all of
our horses a complete and properly balanced diet that is carefully
monitored and individualized based on the needs of each horse throughout
their life.
